Thunderbird Lanes
We are a Family Owner and Operated Local Bowling Center
Thunderbird Lanes Wrightstown was established in 1958 by James Sterling Davis (aka POP), which served the neighboring military base and surrounding communities. It was sold in June, 2020 after 62 years of being in the Davis family!
James’ three sons inherited the family business and decided to open a bowling center of their own (Thunderbird Lanes of Manahawkin).
This center originally only housed 16 lanes when purchased in 1995; however, after years of planning and adversity, Thunderbird Lanes of Manahawkin was renovated into the beautiful 24 lane center, that it is today.
In the summer of 2020 synthetic lanes were installed to the delight of the bowlers!
