Is that the old Morrison’s?
Morisson’s History
Morrison’s Marina is a legacy that has lasted over 60 years.

“Pete Morrison had come to the island in the 1940’s to clean fish- buying them from the pound boats and preparing them for market. He decided to cut out the middleman and bought a dragger to start fishing himself. Realizing he needed a place to dry and mend his nets, he bought a piece of land on the bay at the end of Second Street in Beach Haven. His wife, Peg Morrison, began making fish sandwiches and chowders for Pete’s crew and eventually word got out to the other baysiders and fishermen passing through. The Morrison’s installed a counter at the front of a shack. The rest is history.”
— Morrison’s Goodbye Letter
Passed down through generations the restaurant and marina created an ever-loving community until tragedy struck in 2004. A fire destroyed the bayfront restaurant leaving nothing behind but a strip of concrete perimeter.

Now known as Queen City Marina, the legacy lives on through the new owners with plans to rebuild Morrison’s Restaurant. Until then the space, now known as Morrison’s Point, and is host to tented weddings, welcome dinners, clambakes, family gatherings and more Queen City Events. With hope to bring life and some nostalgia to a space that brought so much joy for many.
